Multidisciplinary artist Medina will participate in "The New Media Moment", an international exhibition project dedicated to digital art and new media practices, presented across the urban media screens of Times Square from May 13–15, 2026. Curated by Art Innovation Gallery, the project brings together international artists working at the intersection of art, technology, moving image, and contemporary media infrastructures.

Envisioned as a curatorial intervention within one of the world’s most hyper-mediated public spaces, the exhibition transforms the monumental LED screens of Times Square into temporary platforms for contemporary art. In contrast to the commercial visual environment that usually defines the site, The New Media Moment introduces artistic practices as a critical and poetic presence within the urban landscape.

As part of the exhibition, Medina will present "Flowers for Mothers", a digital artwork that expands a recurring motif within her artistic practice into the realm of motion and time-based media. The work was first presented at Azerbaijan National Carpet Museum (https://carpet.is.art/) as part of the artist’s solo exhibition "In the After Image", where it later entered the museum’s permanent collection.

Through subtle movement and digital transformation, "Flowers for Mothers" reinterprets the floral composition as a living, evolving image. Positioned within the visual intensity and architectural scale of Times Square, the work invites reflection on memory, care, femininity, and the translation of traditional visual languages into digital space.
